Introduction to Earthen Plaster

Handcrafted by mixing clay soil, sand, and fibers, earthen plasters are environmental-friendly, non-toxic, breathable, durable and very beautiful. This workshop honored a time-honing skill by combining theory and practice; learning how to test your soil, understand different components which make up an earthen plaster, making plaster from scratch and last but not least, plastering using different types of tools, from Japanese trowels to yoghurt lids.
